As a nature photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than capturing the beauty of the world around us and sharing it with others. In 2019, I had the incredible honor of winning first place in the photography/digital category at the prestigious Art By The Sea show in Vero Beach, Florida with my photo of one of the majestic barren trees on Jekyll Island during the blue morning twilight Titled: Starke~Naked~Beauty.
The moment I captured this scene was truly awe-inspiring. The tree stood tall and proud, silhouetted against the stunning hues of blues and purples in the early morning sky. The reflections in the foreground added an extra touch of magic to the scene, creating a breathtaking contrast.
Winning first place at the Art By The Sea show was a humbling experience and a validation of my passion for nature photography. It’s a reminder that beauty can be found in even the simplest of scenes, and that nature is an endless source of inspiration.
